Northern Pacific Roofing provides professional roofing and related exterior services in San Rafael, CA and surrounding areas across Marin and Sonoma County (CA Lic. #812250). All services are subject to availability and may vary by location. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

Estimates & Agreements

Written estimates describe the proposed scope, materials, and price based on information available at the time of assessment. A signed agreement or written acceptance confirms the work. Additional work discovered during a project is communicated for approval before we proceed, except where emergency measures are required to protect the property.

Pricing & Payment

Warranties & Guarantees

We stand behind our workmanship with applicable labor warranties, and manufacturer warranties may apply to installed materials (including GAF, Malarkey, James Hardie, and Westcoat systems where specified). Warranty terms and duration vary by service type and product and will be provided at the time of service. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, storm or other casualty beyond covered scope, or third-party modifications.

Text Messaging (SMS) Consent

If you provide your phone number and opt in through a form on this site, you consent to receive transactional, service-related, and (where separately agreed) marketing text messages from Northern Pacific Roofing via SMS and automated systems. Scheduling, Access & Cancellation

Service dates are scheduled by mutual agreement and may shift due to weather, material availability, permitting, or safety conditions inherent to roofing work. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and work areas, to secure pets, and to move or protect vehicles and belongings near the work zone. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please give us as much notice as practical; deposits, restocking, or special-order material charges may apply as disclosed in your written agreement.

Licensing, Permits, Codes & Insurance

Northern Pacific Roofing performs work as a licensed California contractor (CA Lic. #812250) and carries insurance appropriate to the services provided. Where a project requires permits or inspections, we will identify them and, unless your written agreement states otherwise, coordinate the required permitting so the work conforms to applicable building codes. You are responsible for disclosing known conditions that affect the work (for example, prior repairs, structural issues, or the location of concealed utilities) so the scope and price can be assessed accurately.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by California law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Northern Pacific Roofing, and its owners, employees, and subcontractors, from third-party claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or your failure to disclose conditions that materially affect the work. This section does not limit any rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by California law, Northern Pacific Roofing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Force Majeure

Northern Pacific Roofing is not responsible for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, storms, fire, flood, labor or material shortages, supply-chain disruptions, acts of government, or other events of force majeure. Where such an event occurs, performance timelines are extended for a reasonable period.

Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in full force. These Terms, together with any signed estimate or service agreement and the policies referenced here, constitute the entire agreement between you and Northern Pacific Roofing regarding the website and the services described, and supersede prior understandings on those subjects. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Venue for disputes relating to these Terms or our services shall lie in the state or federal courts serving Marin County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
